About Itatec: Time & Access Integration

Our  History

Specialists in time and attendance applications, Itatec was founded in the early 1980’s by Vivian Taback, who recognised even then the remarkable opportunities and potential benefits that the growing computer industry offered to clocking and time-and-attendance solutions.

More than 30 years later, his foresight has proven its worth. Itatec has grown into an established market leader in the time-and-attendance and access control industry. With its own in-house developers and technicians, first class service and unmatched technical know-how are always available.

South African Time-and-Attendance and Access Control Specialists

A family-owned South African company, we’ve worked hard to maintain the same personal service values that have always formed the core of our business philosophy – even as we’ve grown. Over the years we have installed at over 1000 customers, including many small and large corporate, retail and manufacturing concerns such as Pick ’n Pay and Spar stores, Jockey, Humin Jeans, BP and Shell petrol stations and Eskom construction sites.

Our Team

Our team includes a truly multi-disciplinary skill set: from IT expertise to electrical engineers and software architects, enabling us to provide support, qualified maintenance and expert service to all our clients, at any time.

We provide services for large national retailers, distribution warehouses, farms, food processing and manufacturing factories, hospitals, office buildings and much much more. Anywhere that there’s a need for access control, or time-and-attendance management, Itatec has the product range and the expertise to meet your requirements.
